Small acts can travel far. Kidz 4 A Cause has shipped over 5,500 pounds of care packages to US Navy sailors deployed overseas — from the USS Eisenhower to the USS Indianapolis and USS Wasp — reminding them they are seen, valued, and supported.

Youth-led

Young people don't just participate in Kidz 4 A Cause campaigns — they lead them. From organizing concerts to launching donation drives, children and teens develop real-world leadership skills while championing causes close to their hearts.

Kidz 4 A Cause was established on Valentine's Day 2022 by Sutton Shanahan — then just nine years old — with a simple but powerful belief: kids shouldn't have to wait to make a difference.

Sutton's drive was born from a deeply personal place. Watching her aunt's courageous battle with cancer, she realized that community support could be life-changing — and that children had just as much to contribute as adults. With a few dollars in her piggy bank and a whole lot of heart, she set out to prove it.

What started as one girl's mission to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has grown into a thriving nonprofit that has delivered thousands of pounds of supplies to US military members overseas, supported Hurricane Ian relief efforts, fueled school supply drives, and so much more.

As Sutton puts it: "It never hurts to ask. You should just celebrate your victories."
